    Special Advisor to the Group CEO and CFO of VEON

    Alex Bolis 35-year career spans across Finance, Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy in large listed companies and gradually progressing to Executive Committee roles. He spent many years in Telecommunications, initially with Telecom Italia, where he worked for more than twenty years first as Group Head of Treasury and then as Group Head of Investor Relations. More recently, his roles with VEON included Head of Corporate Strategy, Communications and Investor Relations first, and Special Advisor to the Group CEO and CFO later, where he helped to carve successful relationships with the financial community and between Head Office and the many Operating Companies, situated in a variety of Countries with different cultures and corporate traditions across Europe, MENA and Emerging Markets. Alex’s career started as a Eurobond dealer in Euromobiliare (now Equita SIM), followed by an 8-year as Head of Institutional Sales, International Finance Department at Banca di Roma, where he was Head of Institutional Sales.
