Andy Parnis Managing Director of Teneo Holdings Andy is a Managing Director at Teneo with 18 years’ experience. He specialises in working with multinational EMEA companies on all aspects of financial/capital markets communications and investor relations. Since relocating to the Gulf, Andy has advised ADNOC Drilling and Fertiglobe on their IPOs on ADX and currently provides investor relations and financial communications advice to both companies post listing. Other client experience includes ADNOC, Network International, TAQA, Emirates REIT and BT Group. Previously, he was at Finsbury in London where he was a Managing Director in the Capital Markets practice and Head of the Technology, Media and Telecoms team. In his role, he advised on several IPOs and complex M&A transactions including SoftBank’s acquisition of ARM Holdings plc, the merger of Virgin Media / O2 and the merger of Viacom / CBS whilst on secondment to the New York office. Other clients included Liberty Global, ITV, Siapem, VEON and Snam. Prior to moving into strategic communications, Andy spent nine years as an equity analyst at UBS and Lehman Brothers and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte. Andy holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics & Politics from the University of Bristol, England.

Yulia Casamassima Director, ESG and Sustainability of FANDA Yulia is an experienced corporate communications professional with a track record of over 15 years in the field. Her expertise spans various areas, including investor relations, ESG and sustainability reporting, non-financial disclosure standards and frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, and UN SDGs, corporate governance, compliance disclosure regimes, and equity ownership. She has gained this extensive knowledge through her roles at leading UK and international corporate advisory firms. Yulia is a certified sustainability specialist with a GRI certification and has further enhanced her skills through completing the "Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies" program at the University of Cambridge. Additionally, she holds a Certificate in Investor Relations (CIR) from the UK IR Society, demonstrating her comprehensive understanding of investor relations. At Fanda, Yulia currently serves as the focal point for Sustainability and ESG, primarily focusing on the GCC region. Her responsibilities encompass all aspects of client management, starting from initial outreach and extending to the final delivery of services. Prior to joining Fanda, Yulia held the position of Senior Associate at DFKing, where she managed corporate governance projects for European issuers. Her roles included leading proxy campaigns, reviewing board remuneration policies, and providing advisory services on corporate governance best practices. Before her time at DFKing, Yulia worked as a Senior IR Analyst at Ipreo (now part of S&P Global), where she collaborated with issuers across different jurisdictions and contributed to the production of Shareholder Identification (SHID) reports and perception studies. Yulia's educational background includes an honours degree in Linguistics and a master’s degree in Financial Management.
John Gollifer General Manager at MEIRA
John Gollifer General Manager at MEIRA John Gollifer is the General Manager of the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA). He was the General Manager and an executive director of the Board of the UK’s Investor Relations Society from 2012 to 2018. Prior to this, John spent 11 years at the Singapore Exchange where he was Senior Vice President and responsible for investor relations, among other roles in corporate strategy and communications. He established and ran the IR Professionals Association of Singapore from 2006-2008, is a multiple IR award winner and he created and taught an IR course at the Singapore Management University from 2009 to 2012. Since 2016, John has lectured at the University of Liverpool in London on the Masters in Strategic Communications, IR module. John was trained as a banker and spent 15 years in Asia and Europe in corporate finance and equity capital markets. Since joining the IR Society, which works in partnership with other IR associations, John has led IR training, including for the International Certificate in IR (ICIR), in Chile, Indonesia, Japan, Nigeria, Singapore, Thailand and Turkey, as well as in the Middle East and UK. In 2018, John was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the IR Society in recognition of his services to IR.
