Sara Shadid is the Founder and CEO of Pivot Advisory. In the 16 years leading up to founding her own company, Sara's experience in capital markets, investor relations, and corporate communications helped her pave the way to creating an advisory company that encompasses the entire strategic spectrum.

Sara's previous roles heading Investor Relations and Corporate Communications in UAE-listed companies included Arabtec Holding PJSC and, more recently, Amanat Holdings PJSC, both at critical times of their business maturity.

At Amanat Holdings, she was responsible for developing and implementing the IR and communications strategy while managing all communications between Amanat's corporate management and its investors across various platforms. She also initiated and led Amanat's ESG journey and the company's rebrand in 2022.

Before joining Amanat, Sara was the Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Arabtec Holding PJSC during one of the company's pivotal transformations. Sara worked closely with the Management Team to implement the Group's 3-year Strategic Roadmap resulting in the company completing a rights issue and returning to profitability.

In addition to Sara's senior roles in listed companies, she has over a decade of sell-side experience in equity capital markets with leading investment banks in MENA, which included her role as Lead Sales and Corporate Access for Renaissance Capital Dubai, Head of the International Desk at Beltone Financial and Manager MENA Markets at CI Capital Egypt.

Sara has a BA with Honours in Political and International Studies with Media and Cultural Studies from Middlesex University in London. She is a Certified Board Secretary with extensive experience in governance frameworks and sustainability.
