MEIRA would like to invite you to the MEIRA UAE Chapter IR Breakfast event on Friday 17 March where we will address market trends and IR insights.

Members will have the opportunity to network over a light breakfast, followed by an Orient Capital presentation and a Q&A session.

Senior Vice President at Teneo Holdings

George Allen is Senior Vice President with Teneo in Dubai, where he advises clients on Financial Communications and Investor Relations.

Prior to joining Teneo in 2021, George was Partner at Instinctif Partners, where he led their Capital Markets practice in the Middle East & North Africa. His focus is on Financial Communications including IPOs, M&A and other ECM transactions, as well as Investor Relations for issuers across GCC markets, with wide sector experience including Financial Services, Oil & Gas, Telecoms, Real Estate, Healthcare, and Hospitality.

In previous roles, George has sat on group-level committees for both ESG and IR. He is an active member of the Middle East IR Association, regularly participating and speaking at industry events. George is a graduate of the University of Oxford from where he holds a BA in History and has completed Said Business School’s ‘Oxford Executive Leadership Programme’.

Paolo is an investor relations and capital markets specialist with 15+ years’ experience in developing industry-leading IR advisory and data services. Paolo looks after the European and MEIRA client’s final delivery reporting requirements. He has advised various companies worldwide on investor relations, shareholder identification, perception studies, targeting and regulatory developments and has been involved in all IR Corporate Advisory aspects including equity and debt ownership research and analysis, disclosure and compliance, proxy solicitation and sales. Prior to OC, Paolo worked at Ipreo, where he headed the International Research and Compliance operations of Corporate Services running ID projects for large cap companies. Paolo speaks Italian and Spanish, holds a BA degree in International Relations and a Master from Cambridge University.

Managing Director of Teneo Holdings

Andy is a Managing Director at Teneo with 18 years’ experience. He specialises in working with multinational EMEA companies on all aspects of financial/capital markets communications and investor relations.

Since relocating to the Gulf, Andy has advised ADNOC Drilling and Fertiglobe on their IPOs on ADX and currently provides investor relations and financial communications advice to both companies post listing. Other client experience includes ADNOC, Network International, TAQA, Emirates REIT and BT Group. Previously, he was at Finsbury in London where he was a Managing Director in the Capital Markets practice and Head of the Technology, Media and Telecoms team. In his role, he advised on several IPOs and complex M&A transactions including SoftBank’s acquisition of ARM Holdings plc, the merger of Virgin Media / O2 and the merger of Viacom / CBS whilst on secondment to the New York office. Other clients included Liberty Global, ITV, Siapem, VEON and Snam.

Prior to moving into strategic communications, Andy spent nine years as an equity analyst at UBS and Lehman Brothers and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte. Andy holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics & Politics from the University of Bristol, England.
